I took this picture about 1.5 years ago and for some reason decided to play around with it today. It was taken with a Nikon D70 and a piece of junk kit lens. Which goes to show that a little photoshop can go a long way. Although, the gear doesn’t hurt. In fact, as I’m sitting here, all I can think about is my brand new camera (a Nikon D700 ) that’s supposed to get here tomorrow. Yee-haw. Also, to really sweeten the deal, I’m getting a new lens too. It’s a Nikon 14-24 2.8 which is SUPER wide on the full frame D700. Very excited to play around with it…I’ll be sure to let you guys know what I think.

I agree with Josh, the moment I first shot with the D3 in my hand, the sensor was like pure magic! I also really want the 14-24 and plan on getting it with the D700 in the new tax year…. Can’t wait to hear your reviews!
